The Sixth Form
Sixth Form students at Havelock have a completely new experience of Sixth Form life, and join us at an exciting time of transition to a new building. You will take responsibility for the leadership of a House and, with a small group of peers, will be uniquely involved in the planning and development of the Academy's life over the two years of Sixth Form life. Our aim is to ensure that you have every support and an individually framed strategy, agreed with you, to take you to the next stage of your career. You can expect as a leader of this changing community to influence and shape its life.
Each Sixth Form student is allocated a Personal House Tutor who is available to discuss academic and other issues with you, and to help guide you in your future choices. The tutor, together with the Guidance Team, will also monitor your progress throughout the Sixth Form and act as a channel of communication between the Academy and your parents.
Havelock Academy Sixth Form students aspire to be role models for younger students and to achieve their full potential. They make up a special group of young leaders with the capacity to transform their community.
