How To Apply

Admissions to the Academy are governed by the Academy's Admissions policy which is reviewed annually. Broadly, admissions priority is given to those living in the Havelock catchment and thereafter following the hierarchy of criteria laid out in the policy.

Parents who live outside the catchment and who wish particularly to access our curriculum should contact Mrs Burgess, on 01472 602000, to register their interest.

The current admission numbers for Year 7 - 11 are:

Year 7 is 220.

Year 8 is 200.

Year 9 is 200.

Year 10 is 192.

Year 11 is 192.

The academy will from time to time host Open Days. The dates for these will be published in the academy events section of this website. The academy recognises, however, that the best time and way to see it in action is to visit on an ordinary working day. The Academy will be pleased to hear from any prospective or current parent, friend, or associate of the Academy in order to arrange a visit.

The Local Authority are responsible for admissions to our academy, you can read more information and access the NELC website by clicking here

Further information regarding admissions can be obtained from Mrs Thornton (tthornton@havelockacademy.co.uk)
