Pastoral Care
Every individual, their needs and their aspirations, are important. The Academy seeks to value every child and adult associated with it through its ethos. The simplest expression of the ethos is to be found in the Code of Conduct. This aims to create a culture in which every person is treated with dignity and respect. Accordingly, good behaviour is encouraged and poor behaviour discouraged. The House Tutor relationship is the foundation of the Academy's care, fostered by daily contact in House tutorials and more widely by the co-curriculum. Trust will be built by tutorial relationships in order that when something does go wrong, the child has recourse to help they can rely on.
