'Havelock United Group' (HUG)
Welcome to the Haveock United Group (HUG) page. Our names are Sue Neul and Shane Ashford; we are the Havelock Academy Parent Governors. With the dawn of a new chapter in the life of the academy our aim is to promote a partnership between parents, guardians, carers and all members of the academy community.In June of this year, we established a group of like-minded parents, who meet termly to organise social events at the academy. We have so far organised a parents' breakfast, quiz night and the inagural Havelock Academy float in the Cleethorpes Carnival Parade 2011. We were proud to be awarded second place in the local schools category, coming runner up to the overall winner of the Carnival Parade.
We have also established a successful pre-owned uniform shop and are currently working on a weekly parents' breakfast event and a film club.
We are looking for your suggestions on events you would like to see hosted at the academy and we look forward to meeting you at the next meeting of the Havelock United Group when you can share your ideas.

Havelock United Group is currently in the process of organising a FREE film club. The film club will be held in the academy theatre once a fortnight with an expected start time of 6:00 pm. It is envisaged that this will launch early in 2012.
