Hawks raise money for St. Andrew's Hospice

The Havelock Hawks completed a sponsored challenge last night, which resulted in them rowing for 5 hours continuously, racking up 97,626 metres across two rowing machines.

After 1 hour of rowing they then began a rugby match which lasted for 4 hours, with a final score of 605 - 555. The event was part of DRET Fest, celebrating all the enrichment opportunities our students have. The idea to raise money was born in a Tiger House assembly but 18 students across all houses took part. Thanks to the generosity of staff, students and parents the Hawks raised over £160 for St Andrew's Hospice in Grimsby. Congratulations to all involved.
