Mathematics
The Mathematics Faculty has a well established team of seven full time teachers. There are six fully resourced Mathematics rooms with access to a further five shared ICT suites.
The Mathematics team is committed to using and applying Mathematics in real life contexts. As a specialist area of the Academy we have responsibility for promoting Mathematics across the whole curriculum in order for students to see the learning of Mathematics as a life long experience, enabling them to approach all the different forms of numerical challenge in life with confidence.
We want our students to appreciate that Mathematics is useful outside the classroom and that it provides transferable skills, enabling achievements in other areas.
