Sports which are taking place this year:
- Netball: Form 1, 2, 3, 4 and Form 5
- Swimming: Form 1, 2, 3, 4 and Form 5 boys and girls
- Cross-Country: Form 1, 2, 3, 4 and Form 5 boys and girls
- Rugby: Form 1, 2, 3 boys
- Basketball: Form 1, 2, 3 boys
- TRI/Aquathlon: Form 1, 2, 3, 4 and Form 5
- Rounders: Form 1, 2, 3, 4 and Form 5 girls. Form 1, 2, 3 boys
- Rowing: Form 1, 2, 3, 4 and Form 5 girls and boys
- Tennis: Form 1, 2, 3, 4, and Form 5 girls and boys
- Hockey: Form 1, 2 and 3 girls
Key events to look out for this year:
Track cycling event at the Melodrome in Manchester against other schools and academies in the area.
Havelock will be recognised as a central venue for the development of aquathons and triathlons as there will be several events over the course of the year.
Havelock will offer basketball to local schools in terms of a central league/tournament venue throughout the first four terms of the year.
Havelock will be developing netball at the school and hopefully host tournaments against local schools and academies.
Havelock will build upon its strong links with local schools and the other academies within the David Ross Education Trust through sport in terms of fixtures and training events.
The strong link with Uppingham School will continue to be built upon and the fixtures in netball and football will happen again this year.
