Eagle

“Swifter, Higher, Stronger”

Hello, my name is Mr Rose and I am the Raising Standards Leader for Year 8, in charge of Eagle house.

I am responsible for ensuring that pupils in Eagle house are recognised for their efforts and achievements. I am in charge of leading the house in competition, particularly in our annual 'House Shout' singing competition and in Sports Day.Thisyear for the house shout, Eagle chose ‘I believe I can fly’. We have chosen this because we are Eagle and if we work   together we can all fly. In Eagle we have exceptionally high expectations for all elements of Academy life and we believe this song represents our desire to achieve all our goals. It was a great honour to lead out Eagle in the contest and finishing a well deserved 3rd was the highest we have ever achieved!

This is my second year in the role and Eagle pupils inspire me on a daily basis with their drive, engagement and passion throughout the whole Academy. Last year was a very successful one for Eagle, winning Sports Day whilst coming second in the Attendance and House Point competition. I look forward to continuedsuccess this year.
