About Havelock Academy
Welcome to Havelock. This Academy was established in 2007 to serve the community of the East Marsh and Heneage by broadening horizons for children. Havelock thus seeks to educate children in a spirit of broad enquiry and by harnessing their potential to realise their aspirations.
Havelock's focus is on the development of the whole child through the nurturing of inter-cultural awareness and the encouragement of excellent communication skills.
The Havelock community is based on strong relationships and leadership, developed through the House pastoral system. Eight Houses compete and cooperate with each other in all areas of Academy life. Good manners, being smart and thinking about others are all central to the Academy's code of conduct which was devised in consultation with the students of each House.
